Smogon XY Ubers ability usage stats

This index ranks the abilities that appear in the latest Smogon monthly snapshot for the selected format, ordered by usage. Each row shows the usage rate, its month-over-month change, and the Pokémon that run it most often, with a click-through to a dedicated page carrying the full per-format breakdown. Usage is measured from rated Pokémon Showdown battles, so the ranking reflects what high-level players actually pick rather than theoretical viability.

Open any row to reach its detail page: a month-over-month usage trend, a breakdown of usage tier by tier, the top users with their per-format pick rate, and a synergy panel computed from co-occurrence, showing which other abilities and which Pokémon it is most often paired with. The format selector at the top re-scopes every figure to a specific tier, so the same entry can be compared across a Singles ladder, Doubles OU and the live VGC regulation.

The underlying counts come from Smogon's public monthly statistics, built from millions of rated Pokémon Showdown battles and refreshed with each new snapshot. The rankings, deltas, tier-by-tier breakdowns and synergy scores on this page are computed by Pokékipe on top of that raw data. Everything here is free, needs no account, and is also available through Pokékipe's public read API.
