Pokémon damage calculator
About the Pokékipe damage calculator
The Pokékipe damage calculator is meta-aware : every set option (item, ability, EV spread, Tera type) is pre-weighted by current usage so the most likely scenario surfaces first when you pick a Pokémon. It supports every official mechanic up to Generation 9, Terastallization, dynamic-tier interactions, weather and terrain. The /guides corpus covers the underlying damage formula and speed tier mechanics in detail.
Because the calculator is meta-aware, the set options it pre-fills — item, ability, EV spread, nature, Tera type — are weighted by current usage, so the most probable matchup surfaces first instead of an unrealistic default. You can override any field to model a specific set.
It models every modifier that affects a roll: weather, terrain, screens, entry hazards, status, multi-hit moves, critical hits, and Terastallization including Stellar. Each scenario produces a shareable permalink so a damage calc can be cited exactly. See /guides for the damage formula and speed-tier mechanics.
Damage calculator FAQ
Which generations and mechanics are supported?
Every official mechanic through Generation 9, including Terastallization (and Stellar), weather, terrain, screens, hazards, status and multi-hit moves.
What does “meta-aware” mean here?
Set options are pre-weighted by current usage, so picking a Pokémon surfaces its most common item, ability, spread and Tera type first — the likeliest real matchup, not a blank default.
Can I share a calculation?
Yes. Each matchup has a permalink, so you can paste an exact damage calc into a guide or discussion.
Can I model a custom set?
Yes. Every field — EVs, IVs, nature, item, ability, boosts, Tera type — is editable, so you can override the meta defaults and test any spread.
